Trail & Ultra Running - I'm an online coach in a strength coaching capacity for runners.
How do you deliver your programming?
I offer 100% remote training.
What program types do you use to deliver your training?
I use Custom and Fixed Length programming. As all of my coaching is bespoke - the custom programming option offers all the tools you could ever need to catering for various athletes types and levels. I use fixed length to offer sample programmes ranging from 1-4 weeks - fantastic for giving potential clients the coaching experience if they're not 100% sure!
Which features are helping you the most and why?
The video attachment tool has been well received by clients in testing and adds that personal touch to session briefs, etc. A close second is the Personal Records tool - recently found out how to adjust the % of lifts!
Are you using Personal Records in your training?
Yes! The larger range compound lifts and distances for runners are an obvious go-to.
Since using FITR how has it changed your coaching business?
It saves me a HEAP of time - I've worked on pulling together some base templates, etc. It's made programming so easy! My clients also love the app. The coach support via chat has been a real winner.
It's great. The only thing I feel that's missing is being able to integrate other apps - Strava, Polar, Garmin, etc.
