The Custom App is available as an add-on subscription to your account. We’ll make the switch seamless – any existing clients, programs, content and work carries over.

Kickoff & Build (approx 4wks)

You’re assigned a FITR build liaison who will collect your brand assets and guide you through setup. We will ask you to register developer accounts with Apple and Google App stores.

Review & Approve

You'll be provided a test environment to review and preview your app before it gets published.

Go Live!

Once approved, your app will be available on both app stores. Any updates and new FITR features continue to flow automatically to your app.

What is the Custom App?

It’s your own fitness app, built on FITR’s platform but branded entirely as yours — your name, your logo, your app.

What’s the difference between Custom App and Customisation?

Custom App puts your brand on the App Store & Google Play with your own app. Customisation allows you to add your branding to the FITR app.

Will my clients need new accounts?

Nope. They just download your app and log in with their existing FITR details.

What stays the same behind the scenes?

You’ll still use FITR to build programs and manage clients — we handle all the tech and app updates.

What can I customise?

You can make the app truly yours — change the app name, icon, description, and preview images on the App Store and Google Play.

Inside the app, you can:

Choose colours for text, backgrounds, light and dark modes
Pick icon styles (default, outlined, thin outlined)
Customise the login screen and splash screen
Set the order of icons at the bottom of the app (except calendar, which is fixed)
Choose program card sizes and icon sizes
Use your own exercise videos and welcome messages

Will I need to manage the app?

Not at all. We’ll handle publishing, maintenance, and future updates so you can focus on coaching.

Will my app show in search results on the App Store and Google Play?

Yes, your app will have its own store listing with your brand name, description, images, and reviews.

Can I change my app after it’s launched?

Yes, you can update colours, images, and other branding anytime from your FITR account.

How long does it take to launch?

Once everything’s set up (like your developer accounts), we’ll handle submission and publishing which may take a few weeks.

Will I lose any FITR features?

Not at all — your Custom App gets everything the FITR platform offers, with more updates coming automatically.
